About
Dawn Neal
My interpersonal work is grounded in profound respect for the potential and resilience of the human heart, mind, and spirit.
As a Coach and Interfaith Chaplain (Spiritual Counselor), I inspire, accompany, and support people through growth, transformations and life transitions of all kinds, shapes, and sizes.
Whether you are reimagining work, exploring new possibilities, cultivating a healthy and balanced lifestyle, or coping with grief and loss, you will be met with kindness, presence, deep listening, wisdom, big picture thinking, and clarity.
As a member of the Association of Professional Chaplains, I am committed to the highest level of professional and interpersonal integrity. Follow these links for more about the APC ethical and professional standards.
Experience
Experienced. Vetted. Skilled.
I initially received Integral Coaching certification and opened my coaching practice in 2010. Since then, I earned an MA focused on Pastoral Counseling (otherwise known as spiritual care counseling or chaplaincy), as well as Buddhist Studies. The degree was followed by 15 months of hands-on clinical pastoral training at Stanford Healthcare and Sequoia Hospital. In 2020, I successfully passed a rigorous board certification process with the Association of professional chaplains, and am currently completing my hours. In addition to coaching and meditation teaching, I now serve as a staff relief chaplain for Stanford Healthcare.
I have actively supported professional caregivers, patients, meditation practitioners, creative professionals and the general public since 2010, including as a meditation coach and teacher in clinical environments.
